This water bath canning class is perfect for beginning canners as we cover canning basics and types of soft spread varieties. (Bring a small box or bag to take home your jar.)  Ages 16 & up  Holiday Spreads/Treats to Entertain   October 20, 2025 6pm-8pmSeasonal spreads are the theme … specifically spiced jam and zesty jelly. These tasty jams and jellies can add a holiday staple to your home or make the perfect sustainable gifts for friends and family. Recipes, step-by-step canning instructions and answers to your most jamming questions. Participants will get 2 jars to take home (bring a small box or bag to transport).  Ages 16 & up  Novelty Jams & Jellies    November 3, 2025 6pm-8pmNovelty jams and jellies are making a new, unique culinary statement. What are they? Think unique flavor combinations and far-out, clever names. Make and take 2 different novelty flavored jams. These will be perfect for holiday entertaining or serve as gifts for the hard-to-shop-for person. This class will cover very basic water bath canning techniques.
