Join the South Dakota Symphony and the Sioux Falls School District Fine Arts Program in welcoming:
John Beyrle, former US ambassador to Russia, Joseph Horowitz, cultural historian, and Jean-Efflam Bavouzet, concert pianist. Bavouzet will play Ravel and highlight the relationship between Ravel and jazz in the exchange between American music and French music. Beyrle will share his views on how music is an instrument for cultural exchange in his experience as a diplomat. This is part of a partnership arrangement with the SF School District and the SD Symphony.
The event will take place as a presentation to LHS high school students in the Lincoln High School Auditorium. The SD Symphony has extended an invitation to Gold Card Members.
