Department Information and Policies

Community Ed Classes:
If you are unable to attend a class as planned, you must call the Community Education office at least 5 business days prior to class start date. With 5 business days notice, we will be happy to transfer you to another available class or apply a class credit minus a $10 processing fee to your Community Education account to use towards another class.
No refunds/credits given if you fail to attend class or provide proper notice to Community Education.
 
Cancellations: Community Education reserves the right to cancel class due to insufficient enrollment. Refunds or class credit are given if Community Education cancels the class.
Weather & Emergencies: In questionable weather conditions, listen for class cancellations on local radio and television stations. When school is canceled, Community Education classes are canceled. When able, we will update this website and facebook page. Participants will not be called individually, but we may attempt to email or text, so be sure to include your email in registration and mark the text selection for cell numbers in your account. Canceled sessions will be rescheduled or refunded.
 
Bus Trips Cancellation Policy: Tickets are pre-purchased and non-refundable. With a two week notice, refund could be issued in the form of Community Education Credit minus a $25 cancellation fee, or you can simply transfer your ticket to a friend or family member at any time.
 
Driver’s Education Cancellation Policy:
If you are unable to attend a Driver’s Ed class as planned, you must call the Community Education office at least 5 business days prior to class start date. With 5 business days' notice, if no class is available for immediate transfer, the $50 non-refundable cancellation fee will be retained and the balance credited to the original method of payment.
