Drivers Education - Washington HS Drivers Ed- March 2026 Registration for Spring Driver's Ed classes will be open Friday, January 9th at 10:00am for current high school students and for 8th graders and out of district students on Wednesday, January 14th at 10:00am.If classes are not listed below and open for registration, please sign up for the next email notification to be notified when classes are available. PRIOR TO REGISTRATION, READ ALL POLICIES & PROCEDURES- https://www.smore.com/g6byn -Student that attends a Sioux Falls School District School- $365 -Student that attends in another school district/home school student- $400 -Student must be 14 by the 1st day of class -Do not register if the student will miss more than the maximum 3 hours allotted due to overlapping schedules (vacations, sports, work etc.). Address any potential conflicts before the course starts. -Registration will FIRST be open to SFSD high school students in 9-12th grades
Must be currently ENROLLED at Roosevelt HS, Lincoln HS, Washington HS, or Jefferson HS. Students that are currently in 12th grade, are no longer eligible to take Driver's Ed the summer after they graduate.
Middle school students and out of district students not attending a Sioux Falls public school are NOT eligible to register when classes are initially released.
Registrations will be VOIDED and there will be a $50 non refundable fee assessed.
*DRIVER'S ED CLASS ABSENCE POLICY -Students may miss a maximum of 3 HOURS or one class. All classroom absences must be excused and reported to Community Education. Please call 605-367-7999 to notify us.
All homework will need to be made up and turned in prior to testing and receiving the Driver's Education completion certificate.
NO Behind the Wheel driving hours can be missed. If a student cannot make his/her drive time and the partner cannot find a replacement, the session has to be cancelled. The student who could not make the scheduled drive time will be charged a $50 make-up fee. The certificate will not be issued until the fee has been paid and the sessions have been completed.
*CANCELLATION POLICY:-If a student cannot attend, you must call Community Education at least five (5) business days before the first class. With a 5 business day notice, we can transfer the student to another available class.
If no classes are available, a $50 non-refundable cancellation fee will apply, with the remainder of the registration fee credited to your original payment method. After the 5 business day notice, the registration fee is forfeited.

Part II is for students who have completed Part I OR who have learned the dance before and just want a refresher.Part I of II: Learn the drop-dead dance moves from one of the most famous music videos of all time! Zombie Lisa will teach the majority of the original dance in the Part 1 class, slowly and with lots of repetition. Grab friends, family, or just your spirit of adventure and give it a try. Drivers Education - Lincoln HS Drivers Ed-April 2026 Registration for Spring Driver's Ed classes will be open Friday, January 9th at 10:00am for current high school students and for 8th graders and out of district students on Wednesday, January 14th at 10:00am.If classes are not listed below and open for registration, please sign up for the next email notification to be notified when classes are available. PRIOR TO REGISTRATION, READ ALL POLICIES & PROCEDURES- https://www.smore.com/g6byn -Student that attends a Sioux Falls School District School- $365 -Student that attends in another school district/home school student- $400 -Student must be 14 by the 1st day of class -Do not register if the student will miss more than the maximum 3 hours allotted due to overlapping schedules (vacations, sports, work etc.). Address any potential conflicts before the course starts. -Registration will FIRST be open to SFSD high school students in 9-12th grades
Must be currently ENROLLED at Roosevelt HS, Lincoln HS, Washington HS, or Jefferson HS. Students that are currently in 12th grade, are no longer eligible to take Driver's Ed the summer after they graduate.
Middle school students and out of district students not attending a Sioux Falls public school are NOT eligible to register when classes are initially released.
Registrations will be VOIDED and there will be a $50 non refundable fee assessed.
*DRIVER'S ED CLASS ABSENCE POLICY -Students may miss a maximum of 3 HOURS or one class. All classroom absences must be excused and reported to Community Education. Please call 605-367-7999 to notify us.
All homework will need to be made up and turned in prior to testing and receiving the Driver's Education completion certificate.
NO Behind the Wheel driving hours can be missed. If a student cannot make his/her drive time and the partner cannot find a replacement, the session has to be cancelled. The student who could not make the scheduled drive time will be charged a $50 make-up fee. The certificate will not be issued until the fee has been paid and the sessions have been completed.
*CANCELLATION POLICY:-If a student cannot attend, you must call Community Education at least five (5) business days before the first class. With a 5 business day notice, we can transfer the student to another available class.
If no classes are available, a $50 non-refundable cancellation fee will apply, with the remainder of the registration fee credited to your original payment method. After the 5 business day notice, the registration fee is forfeited.
